Sole developer behind Seven Segments, an turn-based strategy game centering around the aesthetics of Seven Segment Displays, challenging players against one another in a game of wits.

  • Created dozens of pixelart spritesheets for a variety of game modes, game objects and UI. Made with Piskel.
  • Developed a robust abstract game mode script, allowing me to easily build upon the abstract foundation and add new modes to the game.
MATHEMAGICA Developer | ThatMolamolaGames

Sole developer behind Mathemagica, an turn-based RPG centering around the aesthetics of magic and the power of math, pushing the typical mathematical boundaries of RPGs, encouraging players to explore more deeply.

  • Created over 30 animated pixelart spritesheets for a variety of characters and enemies, with additional sprites made for UI and backgrounds. Made with Piskel.
  • Developed a robust turn-based battle system for a variable number of player controlled characters and enemies to confront
  • Learned how to use Scriptable Objects as data containers. Implemented 8 unique Scriptable Objects to preserve data between battles, scenes, and games.

Developed S-Cargo, a speed-focused 2D-platformer themed around snails navigating through levels to deliver mail

  • Created over 35 animated pixelart spritesheets for characters and enemies, with additional pixelart sprites for UI, created using Piskel.
  • Developed a complex binary movement system with distinct capabilities, such that players have an interesting toolkit to navigate and complete levels quickly.
  • Learned how to effectively use a Singleton, providing quick access to the most relevant data regardless of scene or level.
CALORIC INTENSITY Developer | Class Project

One of four developers of Caloric Intensity, a food-themed First Person Shooter where players have to deliver food quickly to customers by using burger blasters and sausage shooters

  • Created a distinctive toon shader to give the game a more whimsical and cartoony appearance
  • Worked with other novice developers on developing animations, sprites, music and scripts for the game, contributing to every aspect of the game.
